Raintree Gardens has been transacted in a collective sale to UVD (Projects) Pte Ltd which is a joint venture company of UOL Group and United Industrial Corporation for a figure of $334.2 million representing a sales price of land cost amounting to about $797 per square foot per plot ratio based on the potential gross floor area.

The consent and approval for en bloc sales had been granted by 80 percent of the owners. The real estate residential site had been put on public tender on 1st September with $315 million as the reserve price. This year alone there had been three en bloc sales in Singapore with Raintree Gardens being the latest. Before Raintree Gardens were the $638 million en bloc sales of Shunfu Ville comprising three hundred and fifty eight units and the $33.25 million en bloc sales of Harbour View Gardens comprising fourteen units.

Raintree Gardens was completed in the late 1980s with two twelve storeys building of mansionette units and one seven storeys mansionette building sitting on a land size of total area estimated to be about 201,405 square feet. It was classified as a zone for residential use having a gross plot ratio of 2.8 and this is under the 2014 Master Plan. This plot of land for residential use was developed by Housing and Urban Development Company, a unit of the Housing Development Board. The privatisation of Raintree Garden was completed sometime in 2014.
