City-fringe resale condo, private apartment prices touch new high in October: SRX

Resale is jumping. Looks like HDB upgraders are dumping their HDB to upgrade to condo. If HDB prices continues to drop, this will show people are indeed switching from HDB to private during this small window period before prices move beyond their reach. I don't think we need to wait till 2018 to see a 2% rise. I think we will see it this year looking at the way things are going.

Eventually private condo price will decouple from hdb flat price. We will have two prices. Hdb flats will be for staying no investment. Condo will be for investment.
