this is simply an overkill. how many reservoir-front developments are there with names containing "waterfront"???

and FEO's waterfront gold isn't fully sold yet but it's still launching this.....

Once all these condos are up, wouldnt they make this place very congested?

A quick search will reveal this:
Aquarius by the Park - 720 units
    Baywater - 232
    The Clearwater - 420
    Waterfront Keys - 437
    Waterfront Waves - 460
    Waterfront Gold - 362
    Waterfront Isle - ?

    Future development:
Bedok Reservoir Road / Bedok North Road - 640 units

Away from this crowd but with similar view:
    The Tropica - 537 units
    Waterview - 696

Waterfront Isle is smack right in the middle of this cluster.

If given the choice, i would think the latest parcel of land in URA confirm list offers a better buy, due to it's location, assuming it has a more exclusive feel since it's away from the congestion.

How much more can FEO price Isle for?

    Launching Soon!

Occupying the most strategic parcel of the waterfront collection, Waterfront Isle consisting of five residential towers is a luxurious development that will enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir. Located opposite the scenic Bedok Reservoir Park, Waterfront Isle is the last and final plot of the four reservoir-fronting developments that comprise the Waterfront Collection.

Consisting of 561 apartments overlooking the picturesque reservoir, Waterfront Isle will be a 15-storey project with apartments ranging in size from 598 – 2930 sq ft.

The upcoming Bedok Reservoir MRT station, which is part of the future Downtown Line 3 (DTL 3), will be within walking distance when completed in 2017.

DTL 3 will be connected to the Circle Line and the East-West Line, enhancing connectivity for residents with direct links to other parts of Singapore. In addition, Bedok Reservoir and the East Coast Park will be directly linked by a 3.8km green corridor under the $1 billion Remaking Our Heartland programme.

How to expand when the road boundary is limited...

IMO, only way to solve it is M_R_T. Perhaps more petition from residents?

Or build a bridge across the reservoir to the quarry side? hahaha.. ok i am joking... dun kan me.. cos that was how i felt when i was caught in the blardy jam@#?!@

I guess that is the reason why the govt decided to built the MRT station just behind Waterfront Collection. I reckon that when all the 4 waterfront projects are completed, those who want to enter Tampines town (one of the biggest town in Singapore) or travel to the city will take the PIE near Baywater. Hence, the road will be used mainly by the residents of Waterfront Collection and the HDB flat residents. Nevertheless the road will definitely be more busy. Hoping it will not be jam like hell. To increase the current 3 lanes to 4 will make the area very busy and eat into the walking paths.

This distance is in fact nearer from ubi to tampines via this road. It is really fast during off-peak period. Road widening is one of the better solution.

    Why worry so much?
I would suggest the 4 collections to pool in funds to secure permanent
20 seaters buses to ferry them to MRT/Interchange at regular hours.
Residents can take anyone of the 4 buses.
Residents to convert their cars to off-peak cars and leave it at home.
Isnt it nice to have big logo on the buses "waterfront collection" biggest development in singapore cheers!
