    not sure how effective it will be...but will be interesting to see as an added tourist attraction .....flying hwaks demos....


    I remembered in my kampong days, i used to see my folk put up nestings (about 2m by 10m ) across the durian plantations during the flower blooming periods to trap the parrots...Those parrots love to eat the flowers and thus affect the harvest...

    Each day can easily catch a dozen ..some will be dead but mostly all alives..and can sell off to the local market for few cents.

    maybe they should consider putting up nesting trap across the trees and harvest daily to feed the Zoo's snakes,,

    with Jurong Bird park coming in (and maybe Mandai zoo later) Orchard will be a place to watch out for!

    Hope they dun scare off the tourists in the end...
