I thought that's the entry from carpark. Reading pavilion is the shelter ahead (right before long flight of stairs) of this "tunnel" like opening, no? Cos that looks so on site.

The picture that was shown should be the side gate along Bartley Road.

If so, look at the site plan here :

    http://e-singaporeproperty.com.sg/wp...-site-plan.jpg

The metal structure on the left of the picture at the top of the foot path connected to the side gate should be "g" on the site plan's legend, which is the reading pavilion.

The tunnel like structure is the covered linkway.

S is the side gate and it looks like it is both for pedestrians (covered linkway with a reading pavilion) and also for cars exiting from the underground carpark. Due to security purpose, vehicles should only enter using main entrance which in this case is on Lorong How Sun.

T is another side gate and that is for pedestrians only.

Come to think of it, though the site plan showed S having a vehicular link to Bartley Road, it may not be a exit for vehicle.

hi, anyone knows if there's any nearby after school care center? Not referring to the one in Maris Stella which is only open to their own students. Still trying to find one for my daughter when we move into BR

Tlc connection moved out last yr, hence the headache. Hope there's new child/student care operator coming up soon. Good business opportunities though for operators with bartley res, ridge and botanique over next 3 yrs.

R sliding wardrobe doors a common condo feature now? Cos I doubt they can be fully swing open now given the size of the rooms nowadays...

How does being APARTMENT and CONDO affect anything?

For my understanding, Apartment is without full facilities like a Condo and sounds cheaper.

I don't know whether it is classed as a Condo or an Apartment officially in the URA

Think there was some discussion about whether it should be categorized as APT or COND. Setback from main road, facilities (40% of communal facilities), size of >4000m2.

Not too sure what is the real deal.. Any experts here??

Like cnud said, one of the criteria for CONDO is that the building must have certain distance from the MAIN road. If I'm not mistaken the distance is 30m.

Nowadays, where will you find a strategic plot of land (near MRT) which you can sacrifice 30m of land from main road just to obtain CONDO status?
As long as it is full condo facilities, that should be good enough.

Older private apartments may have CONDO status as the land cost was not as high as today.
New apartments in 'cheaper' plot of land may still be able to obtain CONDO status.

    Greetings to all.

May I know if anyone has any IDs to recommend? I've a 1-bedder in BRes and wonder what wd be a reasonable amount to spend on basic reno and furniture? Not intending to splurge but just make it presentable for rentals.

Heard that rental market isn't that great lately. Any advice wd be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Wonder if anyone took pictures of the model before they turn down the showroom? Would be interesting to compare the difference.

There's a few picture of the model over at h88.com.sg

I drive past BR quite often, can see the giant tree in the middle of the condo.
