Glass curtain is the one that is still uncertain.
Maybe we can write specifically to URA and chase them to say 'yes' or 'no' for glass curtain?
Think ultimate approval needs to come from MC due to facade concerns so we just all need to call or write into the MC?

On a separate note, anyone looking to wooden deck their balconies?
I'm considering Accoya which seems quite good but price on the high side.
Maybe we can bulk purchase get discount

If you want to install the grille due to safety reasons (you have young kids), the MC cannot ignore the concerns you have.

    Agree.
Invisible grilles is widely accepted now.
Just take a look around those new condo that TOP, you'll surely see it.

It's important for families with toddlers!
    MCST sure approve one.

URA seems to have replied previously for glass curtains, a fellow forummer had shared.
Ultimately it boils down to MCST.

Got it. BCA said that glass curtain must be approved either by developer or MCST (if already formed). No need to seek BCA's approval.
So, do we ask Hong Leong? Or install first and seek MCST approval later?

For glass curtains, it should be safer to seek MCST approval.
I don't want the MCST to be bothering me when I just move into the new unit.

Think during collection of keys period we can all meet up to:

1: discuss about approach for sheltered walkway (if you guys still interested)
    2: & glass curtains
3: let those with keys bring those without keys in to "walk walk"

Drove past BR yesterday, saw a car with ERA banner for SALES & RENT.
    They are fast man.

The agent was also patrolling the main gate approaching pple who are looking at BR.

Btw, they are still installing the appliances for quite a number of units.

Maybe a different one, since BResi's main developer seems to be Hong Leong, not CDL (?)

Just to share information if you also keen engage defects inspection service

After round of google, I found the following 3 services in Singapore (there should have some more out there, but may be miss out from my google result)

    Inspect First (Singapore) Pte Ltd
    http://www.inspectfirst.com.sg/

BRANOZ HOMETECH PTE LTD (A Member of BRANOZ's Group)
    http://www.defectinspection.branoz.com/

    Ark Interior / Sngcon Singapore
    https://www.facebook.com/ArkInterior.Sngcon
    http://www.sngcon.com/ - Parent company

I have not use any of their service before did some enquiry with them

Following just my personal view after enquiry, please enquiry directly with them for comprehensive information.

    Ark Interior / Sngcon Singapore
-It is getting popular recently, you may google their name to find out
-Based on other people blog, it take one whole days 6-7 hours
-Visual inspection. No yet confirm still need to check with them any device inspection
-3 round inspection services. 1st inspection, Joint inspection, Post rectification inspection

    Inspect First (Singapore) Pte Ltd
-Based on information they has inspected over 3,200 properties in Singapore.
    -Estimate 4-6 hours for inspection
    -Visual + device inspection
    -Standard service 1 time inspection

BRANOZ HOMETECH PTE LTD (A Member of BRANOZ's Group)
-Based on the information, seen like they are professional for building inspection (reason I feel that because their also have services prepare defect documentation for use in the court) and it may take more than 5 days for inspection
    -Visual + device inspection
-Standard service 1 time inspection – require addition charges for join inspection (defect submission/sign-off defect inspection)

The cost will depend on your house size. Based on my enquiry for above 3 company range from $500-$1100 for a 1000sqft house.

Nonetheless it's good news for everyone!

Saw workers working/painting at block 1 3rd floor unit too
