It is quite obvious decision given a US Presidential Election year. KBW anticipated this and implement CM5. Otherwise, WT will be sold out and to release the remaining stacks.

That is the answer to: What is the best investment in a super low interest rate environment coupled with volatile & poor economic growth (and even impeding recession)? That is why need CMs! Ops!

But the latest CM is just clearly wrong - target the wrong group of people! There is that 80% of HDB citizen buyers chasing up prices in OCR, but the CMs target foreigners & PRs and the remaining 20% private property owners!
Analogy: Kill the 20% white rats while letting the remaining 80% of black rats to roam wild and say "horay horay! We solved the rats' problem!"

    You belong to that 20%?
Think best don't involve the 80%, because we also don't want any policy that affect the 80%, ended up they throw stone at us these 20%.

    Buy Private Property, Live Happy
    Stay HDB, Live Cheerful.

both side who also don't offence who pls.
