Most people probably... no one likes to be an idiot who got into a bad bargain.

Anyway, congrats on your potential purchase.

Rich are get richer because they have excess money to re-invest. Nowadays poor are not getting any poorer because they can use the HDB as a stepping stone.

if you have a risk mitigation plan, and you follow what the CPF rules of loan, you should be fine. After all it for staying. Why would it be a worry?

unless you are chasing a case of buy now or regret later, then you will forever compare if you bought at a low or will it go any higher feeling.

Wah bro, you found something that you are eyeing?

For me.... I was like a zombie for a few weeks.
Cos had to get housing loan, mortgage insurance, change spending pattern etc.
Then also did not know whether bought at the right time.
But after a while, you will get used to it.
Life goes on as normal provided you bought within your means.
