    So is it echelon astronomical and sky habitat ex or is it echelon ex and sky habitat is cheap.

    Finishing cannot cost that much more for an apartment.

    And apparently, they succeeded. more than 70% sold within 2 weeks. Lucky counter and good timing.

    its is not the cost of goods but quality, image and feels of luxury that make people want to pay more. Same goes to luxury goods, you dont ask what is the cost, you check the quality and gauge how it makes you feel.

    Bishan after all is HDB town. This one can claim to be tanglin fringe. Look at the advert, what kind of image it s portraiting.

    yes, that's why most 2nd hand luxury goods end up being sold at a loss, with the exception of Rolex and maybe a few others. It made them feel very good at the point of purchase. then when resell that time...

    The so called expert expect mkt to correct 10 to 20%, how will Echelon price to drop? Who will sell? May as well don't exercise the option.

    Even Rolex also sold at a loss - just how much loss.

    Don't think d'Leedon can be considered luxury though with its poor fittings, normal size, 99LH, beside HDB flats and high density etc.

    I think those that bought immediately after the first round of discounts must be peeved. This 15% second round discount is obviously way better for the 3-bedder.

    how many years left before the balance unsold will be taxed? capitaland is now holding many unsold units. fear is creeping in.

    surely, a 14xx sq ft 3 bedder at the same quantum and 12xxpsf is a better deal?

    If this buyer is thinking of renting the unit out, how much will this unit fetch? Metropolitan 2 bedroom is going about 4 - 4.5k.

    This unit (and also many other similar studios) monthly installment will be around 3k to 3.5k depending on interest rate. Add maintenance and property tax, will be 3.5 to 4k easily.

    That means you can rent it out and let others (i.e. tenants) build your asset for you easily...
