Default WTF, 23 Properties by 30?

Faizul Ridzuan knows how to invest. And he makes it look easy. This regular employee turned RM2,000 seed capital into a multi-million property portfolio in just 5 years, with 23 properties purchased to date. In this book, he tells how he does this, with vivid details based from his very own experience.

They are blessed with cheap property price. Work few years, can consider buying houses.

I know of someone who has 2 PC when she was 30. Pretty good for that age in my opinion. This is from her own $$... not inherited or supported by parents etc

We must give some credit to the guy. considering he is earning msia salary.

we should not judge based on our singapore salary. so if put ourselves in their shoes, i dont think most of us can be like him. so not bad lah.

Quite common for normal property investors(those working on a normal salary) in USA, Australia to have multiple properties in the range of 10 to 20.

Only in singapore and hk where 1 or 2 properties are the norm.

How come 10 or 20 yrs ago when properties are relatively cheap, it is not common for people to have 10 properties?

I have no answer for those 10-20yrs ago.
But what I read is normal folks on a normal salary can own multiple houses in australia/US because of the aggressive lending by the banks ,often 90% or more LTV.

Unless your point is referring to the guts demonstrated by investors who invest in multiple properteis?

If only I know How to invest in property, I would have buy 4 unit of Southbank with 100 K SGD instead of 100K SGD for one unit than I would have 8 unit of PC today.

In Malaysia you can borrow 110% of the property.

Land in Johor, you can buy and sell to yourself and make money.

Which is why we got to give some credit to this guy who started out young. Apparently hos uni lecturer teaches them personal finance and share about property investment. Wish mine shared the same thing last time.

Don't share too much about my girl, else will end up big trouble with her.

I listened to this guy from KL, I think, around late 20+, owns 14 properties, mainly very small units or share with others.

In Malaysia, all these are possible with M$5000-M$10,000 downpayment. The developer will jerk up the selling price for the purpose of application for bank loans.

I have so many friends here own >10 properties in Malaysia, all the same. So, in other words...AVOID. all these are called superb weak buyers
