    Those singles who were initially hoping govt would let them buy new BIG BTOs.... all give up and turn their focus on condos liao.. esp those who are still staying with parents at matured HDBs like "Bedok New Town"... shld be abt the right age liao

    doesn't. platform area is free.

    i dunno the rules, but it seems like only when u can stand up comfortably on the 2nd "floor" then the airspace is counted. i think easily must be > high 4m, close to 5m or more ceiling then they will double count the airspace. all these platforms are called furniture decks and with <4m ceilings.

    Then existing condos also can do platform deck? Can easily add 30-40% more space if we can do it. Rent out as 2 bedroom instead of studio

    if ur ceiling is at least 3.5m, u can try. existing condos very few ceiling is 3.5m or more rite?

    for me, i can't even accept far east's 3.7 to 3.8m. 3.5 to 3.6m, lagi worse for me. if its below 3.5m, i think u r torturing urself and ur tenant.

    far east's loft units are only 3.3-3.4m high, except for those on ground floor, which are higher. i asked at eco and euhabitat launches. totally silly if u ask me.

    n only up to a maximum of 5 sq m of loft space can be built according to building laws.

    3.8m or 2.8m? 3.8m can by today's standards. only for old school pple like us then demand 5m.

    proper loft units like in one rosyth and royce residences are 5-6m.

    feo and fgwcl lofts are gimmicks.

    that's why they are called furniture decks and not lofts.

    also, these gimmicks give the impression of getting something free. while when ur real loft is 5 to 6m, u get the impression that u r paying for airspace and also likely higher quantum. its funny how most pple would go for feo fgwcl than for proper lofts. sigh.

    someone updated 160 units sold at around 3 or 4pm. so seems like not much sold after that. 30% is around 175 units.

    D'nest easily 40% sold at 3 or 4pm.

    just endured a barrage of adverts on ch 8 news timeslot.

    1st break: d'nest, urban vista, ECO, urban vista (again! just before returning to news)
    2nd break: ECO, urban vista, d'nest, urban vista (again! just before returning to news)

    i still think the earlier one u mentioned could come first.

    1) no SGD loans for residential ppties to foreigners.
    2) 30% MSR for locals.
