450k 100% not possible.. sadly to say MTB for now. Unless it is new launch at uber ulu and small, to hoot at 450k i think either geylang or units at not desirable locations with very little number of yrs left

    Choices available:
    - CASHEW PARK CONDOMINIUM
    - AVILA GARDENS
    - PARC ROSEWOOD
    - RIVER ISLES
    - RIVERSOUND
    - RIPPLE BAY
    - PALM ISLES
    - LE REGAL
    - SILVERSCAPE
    - THE NAUTICAL
    - Geylang landed left a few yrs tenure

These are from 2011 till now. 400k is close to impossible unless major crash

I found out from the agent regarding the riverbay condo and the reply was $1.2k to $1.3k psf.

Not bad for a 999 y lease provided you drive and is for own stay.
Good as a retirement home, in my opinion.

The price is fake. Look at airstream for some idea of the mm pricing.

Yes you wouldn't want to retire there. Anyway, Riverbay is too close to the expressway. I mean it's the min 5m boundary as stipulated. That's too close.

    400k is nothing nowdays

assuming u and your wife eat $50 per day, that is more than 500k in 30y

assuming u drive for 40y, you bought 4 new cars, again, more than 500k with road tax, insurance, petrol, parking blah

500k also is just enough to raise a child from baby till univeristy graduation (assume local)

so won't be surprised very soon 500k cannot get any 1br

assume 4% inflation rate, 400k today has the same purchasing power as 200k 18y earlier

Ride at your own risk !!!

Cars may accidentally fly into condo site if an accident happens.

The elderly tend to have high frequency hearing impairment so may be they won't be so affected by the noise?
