Totally agree on this. Not only novices. I think house-keeping for students is almost non-existent. They mostly study and party in differing proportions but house-keeping is definitely low on the priority list for them.

My friend had a condo in KLCC for some years now. He lived in it initially when he was working there. When he retired, he still does not want to let it out saying that there is high likelihood it would be ruined by the tenants. Instead, he is selling it and moving his investment to US property (I posted before about this - he bought a mansion in Monterey Bay, CA).
