    The answer is relative.
    But for my live style the answer is YES

    Agree it is relative to the lifestyle one desires. But I think the bigger question is how to build equity. Take max loan even though can pay off more upfront for smaller loan? With the rental returns from the first apartment, should cover current housing loan interest rate easily right? So selling to upgrade might not make sense as long as cash flow is manageable in my opinion.

    Agree that two property is better than only one property. The first and only one property is never consider as investment to me.
