Default Gas Pipe Leaking in Condo Corridor - Who's Responsible to Repair

    Dear all

Citygas told me that the gas pipe leading into my condo unit is leaking.
MC told me that if riser leak it will be under MC. Anything branching out from riser towards the unit is under the SP, even if the pipe runs on a common corridor before reaching the unit.

Is this a standard practice? I had thought that if the pipe runs on a common corridor, even though that pipe serve that 1 and only unit, it should be under MC.

    For your advice pls.

Of course it is under MCST. This one is public area. Threaten to report to SCDF for safety violation if they insist on not doing their job. This one will cause BOTH health and fire hazard.
