"Smart investors are rational instead of superstitious, and often take advantage of the superstitious market to get good deals and make huge profit out of superstitious people.

On the other hand, many poor remain poor because they keep waiting for blessing from heaven, or good luck to fall from the sky, rather than making tangible and proven efforts to improve their own conditions.

Sometime I wonder is it they are superstitious first, therefore, they become poor, or is it they are poor, therefore, they become superstitious - That they have believed the lie that they are too useless or helpless to improve themselves, therefore, they desperately look for supernatural beings and unproven ways from above to help improving their conditions, and become passive and just keep hoping and waiting for miracles."
