The new development replacing the previous Vista Park condominium in Buona Vista Road, close to the Science Park and One-North areas, is probably named Kent Ridge Hill Residences. The naming is not completely final yet, as it could still change. The project lies at the edge of Kent Ridge Park that rises up behind it, so there is plenty of lush greenery behind.
This Kent Ridge Hill condo will be a 5-storey low-rise project, about 9 minutes walk to the Pasir Panjang MRT station. It will possibly comprise around 525 apartments with 68 two-strata landed houses. The site has a plot ratio of 1.4, so it is low density. Close to 320,000 sq ft of land area, providing a lot of space for gardens and pools and landscaping, and tons of facilities. Just invite friends or family over for weekend grills or to hang loose with.
The location of Kent Ridge Hill Residences is in the Pasir Panjang area, at the west coast district of Singapore. This whole area is slated for transformation and rejuvenation as the Greater Southern Waterfront City under the URA Master Plan. But even apart from that, Kent Ridge Hill Residences is already in the vicinity of a number of business parks and research hubs. No details yet as to when this Kent Ridge Hill showflat will open for viewing. Still pending the decision by the developer Oxley Holdings on that, but it will probably be after Mayfair Garden, as that is coming up next on Oxley's launch schedule.
