Fyi, here is how much do you need - If you have a dream or plan to own One Bedroom @ let say
The Purchase price is at $600,000/=
✅ First to Qualified owning AS the First timer
5% $30,000 (must be CASH)
20% 120,000 (can be CPF)
3% Stamp duty ~ (13,000) first timer
Add ABSD if got other property on hand.
Total initial payment CASH and CPF that you need within 8weeks
(($30,000+~13,000)$43,000 CASH + $120,000 CPF = $163,000) only
✅To get max Loan 75%
minimum income needs $3369//= subject to TDRS.
✅ Finally, installment. If base on 30yrs tenure with 2% bank interest the payment with look like below
Progressive payment by stage it starts from $110/= to $332/= 6month/3minth staging period
2-3years later or longer TOP/Completion stage installment $1663/= (cash or CPF)
Next get a tenant, get rental income to help u pay the installment 😁
Why I share this to you. a similar size of one bedroom in today market September 2018 it is range from $600k(Riverfront/Jovell) to $929k (Mayfair garden)
I feel to own a $600k one bedroom is a very safe investment. Your risk is low.
