Blk 26 just passed stage 5 on 24 Feb - doors/window frames in position, electrical wiring (w/o fittings), internal plastering and plumbing of the unit. Stage 7 is TOP!

Woodsville Mansion FH. But no transactions done leh for a long time. Seems like it's a closely knit family living there.

I noticed that W28 has extended the back boundary. Illegal parking there is a constant problem. Lots of cars park by the side and restrict the 2 lanes to 1 lane. My ex neighbour who lives in Ol says that lots of complaints have been made but not attended to.

Recently, lots of parking warden. Dunno whether it's the effect of W28 connections or Sitoh now looking into it after many years of frustration faced by residents. Seems like only Senette given the promised upgrade and Woodsville area was skipped after the promise by the ruling party that whichever majority zone votes for it will get the upgrading.

I hope it's for the better as the cars defnitely cannot park there

Average income of a couple should be around $5k each and that makes it $10k per couple. Foreign bank will easily extend $1.4m loan. So affordable to buy houses now. $1.6m for a flat is affordable to most couples earning $10k monthly.

Huge uproar over PM Lee's comments
    UPDATE

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's open admission that PAP wards are favoured for HDB upgrading exercises has touched a raw nerve among netizens.

His admission came as a reply to a university student living in the Hougang Single-Member Constituency (SMC) ward who asked if he could pay less tax since the opposition-held ward does not enjoy upgrading programmes.

Passed by the site just now , they have removed most of the scaffolding.
The building is mostly in white paint and cream coloured paint.

What is a good rental to start with? $3k per month, unfurnished?

There is a bus-stop in front of this development. Noise from the starting and stopping of the buses can be quite bad besides the noise from the other form of traffic. There is an article in the ST today entitiled; "Car pollution can damage brain".

depends on what size is your unit...go to prop guru and do a estimate. My guess would be $3.3 psf to 3.4 psf.

He is just clarifying the obvious. Anyone who stays in opposition ward and not blind can tell...

just visited the site over the weekend. It appears that all that is left is the fencing and the landscaping. Painting appears to be done or near complete. Looks like TOP within 3 mths at most.
