My wife and I are thinking of buying a 2bedder unit in WF Key, facing the mrt construction site and canal. Since the station is not due to complete until 2017, noise and air pollution may be a concern. Visited on sunday so it all seemed quiet and nice. Am happy with the unit itself and everything within the condo. Seems the park will stay after the completion of the station, just have to "endure" 4 years of construction, hopefully not that bad? Any forummer happens to be staying on this facing, can share experiences? Thanks!
Most like this period of time is the most noisy/dusty but not for long. Once their surface digging/construction has completed, they will seal up the surface and proceed to do the underground work. Noisy and dust will be reduced significantly. Looking forward for the partial station opening of the new DTN so don't have to wait till 2017 2017 is LTA's target completion for the whole of DTL.
