Thought CW owners are having issues with the quality of finishes by China Construction?
But had yet to see anyone post pics of the "plentiful" defects.

Not that I know of. For CW, mass market condo should expect mass market quality mah. If people go to visit luxury condo and then compare, then sure have lots of unsatisfaction with "quality of finishes" (as compared to the luxury condo) - E.g. The Hansgrohe premium range raindance shower shown in luxury condo also looks super shiny compared to those made in China ones in mass market condos (and I heard these will become loose their shine & even become rusty after 1-2 years!).

...which made me regret not buying the arte last year...luxurious marble, branded toilet, quality finishings that u will find in luxury condo...for only 860psf for a low floor stack 12 2-bedder. Was expensive then, ultra cheap now.Originally Posted by teddybear

SINGAPORE : The Urban Redevelopment Authority has awarded the tender for the residential site at Upper Serangoon Road and Pheng Geck Avenue to Qingdao Construction.
The company submitted the highest bid of S$113.7 million, or about S$588 per square foot of gross floor area.
The tender was launched in April this year and closed two weeks ago.
A total of 15 bids was received for the site.
Other developers who submitted bids included Frasers Centrepoint and Sim Lian Land.
The 99-year lease site can yield a maximum gross floor area of some 17,400 square metres. - CNA/ms
Looks like some action going on....
this plot not bad....nice and quiet landed views...but not the front facing ones..lol...definitely worth more den woodsville 28
Asking $psf 1100-1300 for MM unit?
Nice landed with ugly industrial hovering across the whole landscape behind. Ewww.
Pity the residents staying at those nearby landed properties. Many pair of eyes looking at them.
How come the landed area here no en-bloc, so near MRT. Maybe with this new development there will be some soon.

u see leicester suites ard 1300psf...not much effect on surrounding condos
think this is the developer's first foray into pte, think they may scarifice a bit of profits for their long term image.
BTW, does the holding of uncompleted units apply to them since they are foreign developer
this new policy applicable to foreign entities...local developers r spared...FEO is local rite?Originally Posted by 2824
THE CHINESE ARE COMING!!!!
They are flush with cash with their inflated property prices.
They are able to built cheaper than anyone else (lots of cheap labour) but don't expect good workmanship.
so wats the outcome?Originally Posted by sh

Unless they up 25% more to 200 units, then probably close to that of Scala & LF...
