Anyone knows if the new high speed OpenNet optical fibre network will be installed in Minton? For existing homes, there is a one-time free installation for the first 15m of network cable.

OpenNet will be install in Minton, termination point will be at/near DB Box.
Also just checked with the Project Manager, TOP expected end Q4 2013 or Q1 2014.

Everything looking good except the fencing.. Can't understand why they used such fencing with the nearby HDB a stone throw away.. Really no privacy.

Most probably there will be creepers and vines like morning glory covering up the fence and the big planters surrounding the perimeters will give added natural privacy.

You can go down and take a look at the progress now... Stand in front of Blk 142, along the pathway. Get a feel of the project. It is really huge and even before the landscape is completed, it is already looking very nice...

According to agents..Everything looking good except the fencing.. Can't understand why they used such fencing with the nearby HDB a stone throw away.. Really no privacy.

Hence, must be metal fencing. Dunno true anot or whether it is effective.

There is another guard house at the rear of the project, near the badminton dome. Saw it yesterday.

nowadays, all fencelines are with thick wires. no more concrete liao. and not all are installed with those security breach technology.
