Heard that TOP approval can take as long as half a year to obtain.Originally Posted by price
Depends quite a lot on the Architect. Double Bay Residences has exactly the same architect, interior design, Landscape consultant, C&S Engr, M&E Engr and QS as Minton. Not sure about the builder though. Might be worth to visit DBR when it TOP to get a feel of the ambience and build quality beforehand, although you can't do much if you have bought Minton already.Originally Posted by chrisop

I find Minton and DBR similar in many ways.
which means to say they may drag till 2014 mid?Originally Posted by fclim
Hope not. When I say similar, I meant certain facilities like 4 swimming pools, library, 6 shops, games rooms, table tennis rooms, band room, golf practice corner, cascading waterfalls (although the minton one much smaller) etc. The sun fins on the blocks also similar.Originally Posted by price
But, luckily minton got basement carpark with parking light indicators, though.
I am courious to know who owns the 6 shops in Minton. Does anyone one know?
I hope the landscape dont end up looking like thousand island......Originally Posted by fclim
were the retail shops there for sale?
Both mega projects, but DBR has the adv of proximity to MRT (5mins if go by backdoor)Originally Posted by fclim

Not cheap okay. They salad dressed One North to the tune of $75M. Oasis Garden costs $26M. Domain 21, $25M. Minton could well cost $100M to salad dress.Originally Posted by carbuncle

so is it safe to assume?
best case TOP: 3Q 2013
worst case TOP: 2Q 2014
my current lease expires end of Q1 2014.
Hoping, I won't have to extend it
I think it is safe to assume that. Let's hope for a 2013 TOP!Originally Posted by dreambig2win
The progress payment is a good indicator. Right now it is 40% at the reinforced concrete stage. I guess the brick walls completion stage and ceiling completion stage should be called anytime soon, maybe together. Anybody reached that stage yet?Originally Posted by dreambig2win
