I think the article only makes references to Condos.

I think old condos in CCR region between 1400-1800psf are BEST BUYS ...if there is another move up ...this sector will benefit the most.

D15 with all the MMs? The districts above are indeed more ex than D15.

If you look at the report, its about highest absolute quantum. Not highest PSF. Districts with a lot of MMs like D15 might have high PSF but the absolute quantum will be very small relative to many districts -its a low quantum speculative game. So its not surprising the districts in the top 6 are in city, Southwest, Orchard and Bukit Timah.

D6 is mainly becoz of the launch of Eden Residences Capitol.

there are hardly any residential developments in D6. the other one is the very old One North Bridge road.

If you know Singaporeans, the more expensive it is (or appears to be), the more desirable it is.

This odd behavior stems from the desire to be more exclusive, to attain the elusive, the one-upmanship over the others.

What fun is there buying a condo in the outskirts which many others can afford? No challenge at all!

    Prime will always be prime.

A Mercedes, BMW and Audi will always be popular no matter how expensive COE/road tax/insurance/petrol consumption/servicing is. Not to mention the Bentleys, Porsches and the Ferraris.

Queenstown, Tiong Bahru, Bishan and Marine Parade HDBs will always be coveted, no matter how high the valuation is, or how much the COV asking is.

    Fact.
