KSH wins $138.4m condo contract
It will construct 654-unit Eight Courtyards near Yishun MRT station

KSH Holdings has won a $138.4 million contract to construct Eight Courtyards - a 99-year leasehold condominium development near Yishun MRT station.
The construction, property development and property management group was awarded the project by Yishun Gold Pte Ltd, a joint-venture company of Frasers Centrepoint and Far East Organization.
The 654-unit condo will be at the crossroads of Yishun Ave 2, Yishun Ave 7 and Canberra Drive. It is named Eight Courtyards for its distinctive feature of eight courtyards.
Construction is slated to commence in December this year and will take 29 months to complete.
The newest contract boosted the existing book order of KSH Holdings to about $360 million. 'The unfulfilled contract value for all existing contracts on hand is expected to be completed by May 2014,' it said.
The luxurious residential development will have five blocks of 14-storey and seven blocks of 15-storey residential buildings, a basement carpark, a multi-storey carpark, two retail shops and other communal facilities.
'This contract underscores KSH's strong track record and excellent reputation in the industry and is testament to our quality services,' said Choo Chee Onn, executive chairman and managing director of KSH Holdings.
A main contractor in both the public and private construction sectors in Singapore, KSH Holdings is currently constructing two new primary schools for the Ministry of Education as well as a four-storey Education Resource Centre, five blocks of common facility buildings and two blocks of undergraduate residential colleges for National University of Singapore.
In the private sector, KSH Holdings is currently constructing Ardmore Three in Ardmore Park and Centennia Suites in River Valley. Other developments are Madison Residences in Bukit Timah and Watten Residences.
Some of KSH's completed high-end residential projects are The Orange Grove in Stevens Road and Marina Collection, Seascape, The Coast and Turquoise in Sentosa Cove.
