The above link is a guide for those minor works which do not required BCA approval.

As mentioned in Pg. 5, enclosing of balcony is allowed.

Since some of the works can actually increase our useable area by enclosed up the balcony.
So it is true such works is approved and do not required BCA approval?

For landed lah....

For condo, enclosing is not allowed as developer disallow it for obvious reasons.

Then how come in Pg. 5 shown picture stated "Residential building with some enclosed balconies"

But what I mean is to "enclosed it totally" (eg. to be part of the living room, etc.. not a balcony anymore)

I believe the restriction is imposed by the Management Corporation of the Condo for aesthetics reasons and not Developer. BCA allows it.
