We recently did a tabulation of data retrieved from CEA website and found the following results to share with everyone
Approximately 90% of Agency (aka Estate Agents) have between 1 to 10 Salespersons
7.2% have between 11 to 50 Salespersons
2% have between 51 to 500 Salespersons
Approximately 0.8% have more than 500 SalespersonsOut of the 90% majority (with 1 to 10 Salespersons), around half are single person operations (1 KEO).
Which are the 10 agency with the most Salespersons?
What’s the percentage of Salespersons in top 10 agency?

Hmm... I am wondering how this report can be useful to anybody other than people who are interested in statistics for the sake of statistics.

For KEOs, the report will be more comprehensive, with useful info for networking.

For Salespersons and Research students, it's more a tabulated source of data for easy reference (coz CEA didn't compile such data for the general public ... yet), more for a gauge of the current "feel" within the market in terms of agencies and salespersons.

It will be useful to those who are selling products and services to real estate agents?


Hmm... I am wondering how this report can be useful to anybody other than people who are interested in statistics for the sake of statistics.

The conclusion i draw from the chart is that bulk of the agents (mere numbers) are mom n pop or omo setups. We actually dont have that many salespersons from big agencies in terms of market share.
