As above, how can i be sure the POA is still valid?

Seller's agent show me a POA court letter that dated almost 10 years ago.

And the POA has banked in the 1% cheque w his name yesterday but ive still not see the option contract.

Now the agent says the POA request 4% not go to state holder but to POA.

What can I do to prevent getting conned?

POA is valid usually for 6mths to 1 year, best to seek legal advice.

POA = power of attorney?

Well, I am the POA for my bro's flat cos he is not in Singapore.
From my understanding, according to the lawyer, he should update the POA once in 3 years.
For your case, better to speak to the owner and ask if the party is still his POA.
Also better to seek a lawyer's advice as to whether the POA is still valid.
