Developers' monthly sales hit 3-yr record in Sept 2012

Developers' monthly private homes sales reached their highest level in over three years in September 2012.
According to figures released by Urban Redevelopment Authority, developers sold 2,621 private homes excluding executive condos (ECs) in September 2012, an 83.7 per cent jump from the figure of 1,427 units in August. The latest monthly sales volume was also up 60.7 per cent year-on-year from 1,631 units in September 2011.
The September 2012 sales figure was the highest since August 2009, when developers sold 2,772 units.
Including ECs - which are a public-private hybrid housing with initial buyer eligibility and resale restrictions - developers sold 2,771 homes in September, up 79.4 per cent from 1,545 units in the previous month. The figure for September was 34.3 per cent higher than that in the the same year-ago period. Developers sold 2,064 private homes including ECs in September 2011. No EC units were sold in July 2009.

Developers' monthly private homes sales reached their highest level in over three years in September 2012.
According to figures released by Urban Redevelopment Authority, developers sold 2,621 private homes excluding executive condos (ECs) in September 2012, an 83.7 per cent jump from the figure of 1,427 units in August. The latest monthly sales volume was also up 60.7 per cent year-on-year from 1,631 units in September 2011.
The September 2012 sales figure was the highest since August 2009, when developers sold 2,772 units.
