Developers sold 1,806 private homes excluding ECs in June: URA

Developers sold 1,806 private homes, excluding executive condominiums (ECs), in June 2013, up 23.8 per cent from the 1,459 units sold in May.
The latest June figure is 31.7 per cent higher than the 1,371 units developers moved i n June last year.
Including ECs, which are a public-private housing hybrid, developers found buyers for 2,119 homes in June, reflecting an increase of 10.6 per cent from the May figure of 1,916 units and 22.8 per cent more than the 1,725 units in June last year.
These figures were released on Monday by Urban Redevelopment Authority based on sales data submitted by developers.
Last month, developers launched 1,768 private homes excluding ECs, higher than the 1,521 units for May and 1,303 units in June last year. Inclusive of ECs, developers released 2,421 units last month, higher than 1,939 units in May and 1,719 units in June last year.
