We have discussed this in another landlord thread.

It's definitely tougher to secure good tenants nowadays but still have. Quite price sensitive as well so check the last transacted prices for reference.

I feel a lot of demand for large units with multiple bedrooms, especially for well located HDBs if you try to rent out by yourself. Small unit condos the most earnest groups are newly weds but they can't or won't pay high rent. Convenience of location to transport may be able to attract more tenants as well.

So far the highest quality and serious tenants are brought by agents, incomes of tenants also feel more stable.

i notice that tenants for Room rental tend to prefer "no landlord' units.

They dont mind if there are other tenants ...

i know of a HOUSE ... 6 bedrooms ... all rented out within weeks ...

No landlord, No cooking allowed, Once a week, landlord sends a maid to clean up the house ...

depending on the size of the room, varies from $1100 to $1700 ....

Try easyroommate to advertise. There is free version with limited feature, or even paying version is very affordable, can buy for 1 week or 1 month advertising period.

Condo master room market is getting impacted by high number of affordable studio and 1 bedroom unit. Used to easily get 1500 for master room but now its good to even just 1300.

No owner is usually preferable. Additional perks like free cleaning would be great.
