Would like to check with experienced bros and sis here, if it s the market rate for agents comm to be 2% now?

Or is it based on how much is the house ie. less than 1 mil vs more than 1 mil, location, ease of selling?

both my regular agents are asking for 2% on a property less than 1mil.

Sell the house yourself. No need to use agent.

Market rate is 1% regardless of price, but this is not a mandatory rule.
However, if your property is expensive, they are even willing to work for 0.5%.
So if your property is cheap, then they may ask for 2% (otherwise they think not worth the effort).
