I am currently waiting to get keys from HDB for my BTO flats in about 1 years time. My mum had a private condo which is to be left to me in the event that anything happened to her.
What would happen if anything happen to my mum before I got the keys from HDB?
Will I be able to keep the condo and at the same time get my Hdb flats?
If not, can I delay executing her will?
Or I can sold off the condo and get my hdb flat?
Anyone can offer some legal advice?

you sound like something is going to happen to your mum anytime.

Come on... I concurred with what Regulators said.. You sound bad enough. Goodness, don't bother with this lah..

To answer your question, estate clearance work in hand with Ch154a inheritance succession act and DO NOT align/apply with hdb rules. In short, don't bother. This is one of the ... question ever posted..

I also agree....This is one of the ... question ever posted..

One question to the poster:
Which of the single life event will you consider as more grievous:
Losing your loved one or; losing your HDB flat?

Thank you for the advices given. Everything is going on awesome.......
It could be due to the way I phase my question too specifically that you get the impression that the situation is not good.
It is always good to have more knowledge of all these legal matters right...? If not, no one would bother to write will.
I would like to thanks all for the concerns and advice given.....

you should concentrate on your mother and be there for her ..then to think of the procedures of gaining the condo in case anything bad happen to her.

And what makes you so sure that it will be bequeathed to you. Don't be surprised. Why worry now... handle it when it comes...

worst case is either one have to go, best case is keep two...

worst worst case is keep one but have to divide it by two... for your rich wife

As long as u stay in the HDB, u can own and rent out the condo.

However, if u stay in the condo and rent out the HDB...then make sure u and ur tenants don't annoy ur HDB neighbours. :tsk-tsk:

for me, i dont really care whether my mother leaves anything to me when she leaves this world. she gave me a university education and i am already quite happy. i will depend myself for retirement and if i do get anything later, it is seen as a bonus....:)
