HDB releasing executive condo site in Serangoon

THE Housing Development Board (HDB) is releasing an Executive Condominium (EC) site at Upper Serangoon View for application on 1 June.

The 12,392-sq-m site will be made available on a 99-year lease under the Reserve List of the First-Half 2011 Government Land Sales Programme.

Under the programme, developers interested in purchasing the land can submit their application indicating the minimum offer price to the HDB. Upon acceptance of the application, the HDB will put up the land for sale by tender.

The HDB and Urban Redevelopment Authority will also release 3 new residential sites at Punggol Field, Serangoon Garden Way and Upper Serangoon Road and 1 new commercial site at Robinson Road in June.

The four residential sites can potentially yield 1,380 residential units.

Estimated Dwelling Units: 420 (Actual number of dwelling units provided by the successful developer may vary)

Project Completion Period: 48 months from the date of acceptance of tender

Located at Upper Serangoon View, the site is well-connected via arterial roads like Upper Serangoon Road and Tampines Road, as well as expressways such as the TPE, the KPE and the CTE. It is located close to the Hougang MRT Station and Hougang Bus Interchange

On top of good connectivity, the site enjoys a wide range of shopping, entertainment and leisure options, with nearby shopping malls such as the Hougang Plaza, the Hougang Mall and the Kang Kar Mall.

There are also educational facilities in the estate with schools like the Holy Innocents' Primary and Secondary schools, the Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Primary and Secondary schools, as well as the Serangoon Junior College.
