URA launches 2 residential sites for sale

SINGAPORE: The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Tuesday launched two residential sites at Punggol Central/Punggol Walk and Seletar Road for sale via public tender.

They are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the second half of 2010 (2H2010) Government Land Sale (GLS) Programme.

Together, the two residential sites can potentially yield about 1,080 housing units and will offer property-buyers with more housing choices.

The Punggol Central/Punggol Walk land parcel has a site area of about 2.7 ha, and can potentially yield about 810 housing units.

The land parcel has a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 82,582 sqm, with an additional GFA of about 417 sqm allowed for the existing conservation building, Matilda House, located within the site.

The Seletar Road land parcel has a site area of 1.7 ha and a maximum permissible GFA of 24,439 sqm.

The land parcel can potentially yield about 270 housing units.

The tender for the two land parcels at Punggol Central/Punggol Walk and Seletar Road will close at noon on December 7, 2010 and December 14, 2010 respectively.
