Really? Should not have any effects. How many use bridging loan anyway?
That's for enterprise. Not meant for individual.
Why remove? Isn't bridging loan supposed to help HDB upgrader's to upgrade to private property or switch HDB by allowing them to buy first then sell their existing HDB? Discourage people from upgrading to mass market condo or change HDB flat?

Who needs this bridging loan most? Most of them could be HDB upgraders to mass market condo.
It become more obvious that Government wants to stop the mass market price rise with recent cooling measure & removal of this Bridging loan.
It is only for corporate entity and not residential. I think at some point alot of house hunter still need bridging loan to tie over. Otherwise alot of agents, banks and lawyers eat grass.Originally Posted by trump7
