Anyone knows if there will be any new launch in clementi anytime soon?
Anyone knows if there will be any new launch in clementi anytime soon?
Not that I know of. It is full of HDBs and there is simply no space. If you wish to buy new one, your nearest hope is Pine Grove (enbloc attempt still no news) and Hundred Trees (currently under construction), and The Parc (still got some new large units).
Thanks for the info... Prices of The Parc n 100 trees r crazy and do not reflect not too good quality finishing. Plus not too keen on mscp/numerous units at The Parc and internal bin chute at 100 trees...
haha.....best of everythingOriginally Posted by TheIdler
Along West Coast Road, next to The Vision, a new show flat is being constructed, nearly done...plot of land is between West Coast Park and Clementi Woods.
"Clementi West" count as Clementi or not?
I waiting with bated breath for this one...
Hee hee ai chee ai pi (want cheap n gd)... Plus it's a buyers' mkt so choose slowly n wisely

Mmm... Wld be perfect if freehold ...Originally Posted by sfwoo
Those r 99LH plots n far from everything except e parks. The sea is polluted n e view is shipyard. Else wait for Hong Leong shopping mall to enbloc...got to wait long long for 999 or FH there.
Hong Leong enbloc doesnt seem to be happening, waiting but no actionOriginally Posted by hyenergix
Heard that the owners were not keen to enbloc together with the old Hong Leong condo. At least they should renovate, because it looks so old.
Let us see what the winning tender is for the West Coast Link plot...
Amenities not so bad here lah...got wet market, got hawker centre, got Cold Storage(basement of West Coast Plaza), and quite a number of eateries other than hawker centre, got community centre(a lot of activities), got HDB shops selling everything you need, got banks, got clinics, got police post, got fire post...and then the two parks.
Shipyard, container port, lack of beach, dirty sea water, heavy vehicles speeding on West Coast Highway, traffic jam on West Coast Rd during peak hrs(one lane each way) are the minus points.
Can always take a look at Botannia, carabelle and infiniti. 999 and FH. They are relatively new as well, 1km from nan hwa pri sch.
I drove past n it looked old plus some shops closed. Don't understand ... since there r so many new condos around the area, would make sense to reno or hv supermart or something? So where do nearby residents shop? Clementi mall? Think since Clementi is huge, shd b able to sustain a few more malls?Originally Posted by hyenergix
Or you can wait till Nov 2011, for HDB to open tender for this

any one would have to guess what is the selling psf pricing? Closest comparison seems to be The Parc (FH) going at 1100s.
It is walkable to Clementi MRT (5min walk), and near to the Jurong Lake District (5min drive). It also sits at the cross-roads to access AYE and PIE. If built very tall you can see the Bukit Timah reserve. This one will be hot, around $1200 psf by the time it is launched since there has been no condos launch in the vincinity for the past 1 year+.
