This is residential land owned by Tripartite. Cannot built into shopping mall. The only hope is the ex shell land beside Ballota

who were the 'some'? is it reliable? all i know is that it's hong leong land n is slated as residential area according to ura masterplan. so unless there's an application for change of land use, n hong leong actually decides to build a commercial lot here..

personally thinks there's potential for retail here with the increasingly built-up private housing, much like there's eastwood centre along bedok road targeting the private housing there, perhaps the size of loyang point.

The commercial potential is more likely in Pasir Ris than at A to Z area. With so many condos coming up in Pasir Ris, it is about time a huge shopping centre is built. White Sands is too small and many people from Pasir Ris/Tampines flock to IKEA and Courts at Tampines for their groceries and makan.

The plot of land is reserved for Transport use in the 2008 URA Master plan. I understand Transport use refers to Petrol station or anything related to transport.

you can write to ura. currently they are reviewing the masterplan and welcome feedback. suggestions on land use of empty plots with justifications will be considered. the masterplan feedback link is on their website.

this plot of land next to ballota has been fenced up for months with no signs of anything. the sign board just states the address of the plot in crude lettering. it has also been there for some time.

Complete with Malaysiam developer cluster housing projects and Genting style casino complete with man made beach modeled after Kuta and own Little Geylang after Patpong to capture Batam uncle traffic plus Simone Cabaret copy Pattaya to provide decent job to those hanging out at Changi Village... Now visitors can ride bicycle in quarry or ride others in hotel. See. A self sustainable eco and family friendly project.
