Wait for a few more months. Massive crash will also follow in tandem with the stock market. Then KBW can rest easy

At the rate of this current meltdown, property prices could easily be 30% down in the coming months

true. sti will hit below 2k soon at this rate. property will definitely take a hit.

however, if equity market recover fast enough back to above 2800pts, i do not expect any correction in the property price at all.

interest rate is a minor contributing factor to property prices.

in early 09 after lehman bros crisis, int rate was very low as well and yet property still take a plunge. Those who overleverage with too many multiple units on hand will firesell few units if sentiment turns real bad

Regulator, what's your thinking about stocks?

Are you aiming for dividend yield like you aiming for rental yield (ala Regent Heights) or you aiming for capital gains?

commodities are still a good bet....
i prefer IndoAgri and manage to enter below 1.20... now hopefully can ride it up.

also, for dividend players, starhub looks good when it was below 2.65, i think the low was 2.62
5 cents div per quarter, you are getting more than 7% yield.
beat the hell out of any property yield...

A few agents have asked to give them the rights to market in the last few days. I believe most sellers are holding their horses for now. Pity the agents. Not much biz
