Just wondering about TOP date.
I bought a place that will TOP Dec2014.
However at the site there is a signboard that says TOP May 2013.
So is there hope that the place will TOP as what the sign says?

possible but the signboard date is less accurate. they can always exceed or change the date later for that.

Is there a centralised place like URA.gov.sg or website that will show developments with their expected TOP dates by DISTRICTS?
Thanks.
Thanks for the replies !
The same earlier project TOP-ed 14 months before schedule ,
so I hope mine will be the same .

Nope. TOP date can be extended anyway. It was extended in 2008 by 1 year so it is subjective.

I reckon to stay on top of this, you gotta drive around and see for yourself. Got to know the competition and the dynamics of the area in order to anticipate rentals.

This is their save guard , also the longer the period they can borrow a longer period of loan tenure from the bank.
However your cash flow is compress if they complete faster as ur lawyer will need to release the monies based onthe milestones
Mine too. When I signed the contract, TOP is Dec 2015 but at the construction site, the signboard shows TOP Dec 2014. After a few months, I went back to the construction site again, and they had it changed to Dec 2015.
Guess the best date to follow is the date in the contract. That is the legal date. Treat it as bonus if it any earlier.Originally Posted by irisng
