Hi, I just look through URA website.
It looks like there isn't any caveat lodged for private residential properties in District 24.
Are there any private housing in D24? How about HDB?
Whats in D24, how come off limits to private housing?

D24 would be Lim Chu Kang and Kranji side (beside Mandai) right? Mainly forests reserves , horticulture farms, fish farms, goat farms and eco reseves like Sungei Buloh, camp sites, cemetary etc. No HDB or private properties. This is the northwestern end of SG, similar to Punggol in the northeastern end. I don't think there is any intention to build housing there... I remember URA saying that they will try to keep the northwest corridor as "low density" as possible and conserve the environment.
So in the northwest, the furthest u have for private or public housing is Choa Chu Kang, and that is actually still quite central, compared to northeast where u can go all the way to Punggol at the far end.
