1. Know where is your property zip code.
2. Go to Zillow

e.g. Zip code 85737 belong to Tucson Arizona Oro Valley. This is where the Singapore Detachment in AZ use to stay.
3. Use google streetview to look at the house door and window in the neighbourhood if they are protected with iron grille don't buy.
This is where I stay from Mar 2002 till Dec 2005.

The reason why I start a thread on this is that I heard from my friend that is one means of building passive income.... Thru owning a property in US and rent it out.
So would like to hear other's experiences.

US have a lots of apartments for rent, all Singaporean rent apartment only a few rent house.
