I am seeking help and advise from others in this thread as I am foreigner owning RR.
So after receiving the keys, is the developer helping the owner to apply and connect to power/water/internet/cable tv?
Or should the owner personnelly go down to the relevant agency.

What did the management helping to sort out all this?

    Thank you in advance

Unfortunately, No. You have to sort out all these on your own.

For power/water/gas, it is very easy. Just go to SP Utility Office at HDB Hub to fill in the form and apply. You can also do it via internet at www.spservices.com.sg.

For internet/cable tv, it depends on which providers you are looking for, just need to turn up at their shop.

SP turned on my power and water this morning, then realized the water thing for my unit on the outside water riser was leaking. Need to get the condo people to tighten up the thing.

Apparently I'm not the first unit to kena, so please check yours too!

Better be careful. Sometimes they intentionally leave these small things to waste your time and divert attention and energy. More serious defects you will miss out.

    No doorbell is provided.

However, the wiring for the doorbell has been done, so you only need to go and buy "Wired" doorbell and connect to the provided wiring.

I am curious why the 1st and 14th storey lift lobby have only 1 exit door.

Why can't the developer do it like the 2nd storey, which has 2 exit doors.

How much does a home elevator cost?

Home elevators cost a variable amount, so it’s hard to give an exact price. However, the cost will usually depend on the type, design, features, installation complexities, and several other factors. On average, a home elevator can range from several thousand dollars for basic models to over $100,000 for luxury or custom designs.

Will adding a home elevator increase the value of my home?
Typically, adding a home elevator will increase the value of your home as it adds convenience, accessibility, and, in many cases, a touch of luxury. It can also make the property more attractive to potential buyers who prioritize accessibility.

Is there a way to get an estimate on the total costs, including installation, for a home elevator?
Yes, most reputable home elevator companies offer free in-home consultations. They can assess your space, discuss your needs, and provide a detailed estimate on the total residential elevator cost.
