A vice raid at Lorong 24 Geylang resulted in the arrest of 32
women.
The women, who are foreigners between the age of 18 and 45,
were arrested for both vice activities and immigration-related
offences.
Investigations are ongoing.
This is part of ongoing police enforcement efforts to clamp
down on vice activities.
Any person who contravenes the offences under the provisions
of the Women's Charter, Chapter 353, is liable on conviction to a
fine of up to $10,000, or to imprisonment of up to five years, or
both.
