    SINGAPORE - The Urban Redevelopment Authority and Housing Development Board have launched two 99-year leasehold residential sites at Hillview Avenue and Upper Serangoon View/Upper Serangoon Road for sale by public tender on Thursday.

    The two land parcels are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the 1st half 2012 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

    Together, these sites will yield about 805 units, as part of the total 7,000 residential units to be launched under the GLS Programme for 1st half 2012.

    Hillview Avenue
    The 1.26 ha land parcel in Hillview, zoned for condominium or flats, can potentially yield about 370 private housing units. The site has a maximum gross floor area of 35,416 sq m and a maximum building height of 120 m.

    The site is within an established residential estate in the west region. It is near the future Cashew and Hillview MRT Stations.

    Upper Serangoon View
    The 1.24 ha land parcel in Upper Serangoon is earmarked for an executive condominium development and can potentially yield about 435 units.

    The parcel has a maximum gross floor area of 43,372.7 sq m and a maximum building height of 64 m.

    Located in the north-east region of Singapore, it is in close proximity to Hougang MRT Station and Bus Interchange and is easily accessible via nearby TPE, KPE and CTE.

    Tender for the Hillview site will close at 12 noon on March 6 2012 and for the Upper Serangoon parcel, March 1.

    The Urban Development Authority on Thursday released two residential sites at Hillview Avenue and Upper Serangoon View/Upper Serangoon Road for sale by public tender.

    The land parcel at Hillview Avenue, with a site area of about 1.26ha, is located within an established residential estate in the west. The site can potentially yield about 370 private housing units and is near the future Cashew and Hillview MRT Stations.

    The land parcel at Upper Serangoon View/Upper Serangoon Road, with a site area of about 1.24 ha, is located in the north-east region and is near Hougang MRT Station and Bus Interchange. Earmarked for an executive condominium development, the site can potentially yield about 435 units and is easily accessible via nearby TPE, KPE and CTE.
