Yep, launched since end of Oct 2011 only 63 units still not sold after 5 months.

Loans usually get rejected by all banks for projects between Lorong 6-24. Better consult before committing!

Unless you're a mafia who pays in full cash

Can bet on the banks will approve loans in future? Is so, the prices are likely to appreciate

You can try consulting a couple of banks. I tried all 3 local all got rejected. Rezi 26 onwards is ok (though lorong 26 is highly infested with chickens)

Last time Lor 26 till Lor thirty something also cannot get bank load, then the banks seems to start relaxing a little bit..

Is Lor 6 - 24 the only zone that local banks dont allow loan? I think Hong Leong and Singapura Finance still doing businesses here

I'm very curious, if loans will usually get rejected by ALL banks for those projects between Lorong 6-24, why the developers still want to take the risk to bid for the lands, and if no one bids for the lands, then those lands will become "bad lands" already lor or govt will just leave it to "deteriote" by itself, very unlikely lah, S'pore land is so precious.

From what I know, when you go to the showroom, normally there will have a few bankers there to standby leh but it is still good to check before committing.

Sex pimps buy rows of such units at 1 go. Don't you know the apartments on Lorong 28 and 30(Atrium, Midas), many units are used for sex hotels? Few mil$ is nothing to these loan sharks. Only the even numbered lorongs are rejected lar. Go into Central Imperial/ Le Regal. You can never find a OCBC booth or whatsoever.

Its no risk for the developers at all. these projects normally less than 100 units. By the time it TOPs will be slowly snapped up.

Oh, I have no idea on that. You are actually referring to sex pimps or loan sharks who buy so many units at 1 go? Maybe not local banks but how about Hong Leong Finance and SCB?
