You can hide in cornies or false celling, if you have any.

Get a contractor to pull pipes in between with strings inside pipe in cornies or false celling, the Opennet guy can help you pull the fibre through the pipe you installed using the string.

I did it this way as my home's wires are all conceal wirings.

Quite tough problem... I got my electrician to build a concealed trunking during renovation before my OpenNet optic fibre is installed. It cost me $120 just for that trunking. If its after renovation, it might be even more expensive for the extra extra work required.

i think its best to install it as near to the tv point as possible, you will nv know what other capabilities it can bring next time..

I paid the opennet guy extra $100 just to request them to run the cables through my false ceiling. They have to open up 4 ugly holes to faciliate the laying ... and then i have to pay another handyman to get the holes patched up.

I recently renovated my place and my ID referred me to the opennet site for ideas. I think its a rather comprehensive guide and targeted at layman. Hope it helps...

    thanks guys....

my condo unit got no false ceiling or cornices in the living room.

if want to install inside living room:
    - i will have to run some small trunking (0.5" width) above the skirting (wood installed at the corner between floor and wall). all the skirting already painted as white color so the trunking above it will not be very obvious/eyesore.
    - that connection point will be accessible to TV setop box and wireless router

if want to install inside utility room:
    - I will need to install the router/modem inside the utility room
    - And may be a wireless repeater somewhere to make sure all living/bedrooms are connected.

i will listen to opennet contractor's suggestion first

    Hi bro,

My condo management instructed the opennet contractor to install it inside the DB box for all units. Reason is because ac point and data hub are already available which able for us to link to all the room's data point includes living hall. So my suggestion is check with your condo management first before making any decision.

i am also un decide on the connection point... the conceal on the wall is another big big headache!!! contractor will have to cut a gap on the all, and the rust is enough to kill the entire hse !!
