Bro can check with u, wat the normal db rate for a peaceful livable surrounding environment? I got a unit above 20floor facing the pie. My friend told me, floor above 9 to 16 is very noise than it will become less noise as u go up..

Urs facing TH right? Let me check with my friend this weekend when I go cycling... But generally I think it should be within 70db, as the highway is a good 100m away from foresque, which has the widest buffer from the highway among the 3 condos there. Should not be as bad as Hundred Trees, which is barely 20 m away.

I am sitting in quite room.. no sounds - DB level is 57-58 (Sound Meter), 46-47 (Noise Meter).

Noise levels at normal conversation are normally about 65
City traffic inside car - 80-85; Subway Train-95

Will be good if someone can get noise levels at different places in/around these 3 condos. One can use app 'Sound Meter' or 'Noise Meter'. Not sure how reliable they are. They are giving different readings in my quite room as mentioned above.

Between 3 condos, FR is farthest, Eco is nearest to highway. Then it depends upon your block and floor.

Having lived near ECP and AYE, I will not completely ignore noise issue but also not get too carried away. Depending upon your situation, with open windows you may hear a constant humming sound. But with closed windows, it is absolute silence.

Thank u for u help..before I brought this unit , I actually went to blk 20? ( THE 2 POINT BLOCK NEAR THE EXIST OF THE BUKIT PANJANG.) Went to 21 floor to take a look , the view is nice but the sound is very unbearable facing the pie. Than I walk the neighbours unit facing the good class bungalow , it so serene
