They got no choice. Nowadays developer engage property agencies to market for them. So the supervisor will ensure every person entering must be followed. Next visit try wearing a shirt not wash for 2 weeks & never shave, I think maybe all the agents will try to "Siam"
my friend has this experience. Visited one showroom went back to consider. Came back one month later, purposely don't find back the same agent as his service horrible. Halfway talking to the new agent about price, the supervisor realized that he came b4 and insisted that the previous agent take over. My friend, a crude person ask them to fly kite and walk out of the showroom.

yur u r right. They have to.. showflat rules is all agents will queue up to take turns to serve customers. It is first come first serve basis, agents come early to showroom to get queue number. Even if you go there no action talk only [NATO], they will still try to pyscho u, at least got a chance to make u change your mind. Because there are still some cash gaogao pple who will go showroom and perform the "i see, i like, i hoot" mentality and before the agent knows it, the commission is already his/her..

Yes bro radha, I will still visit showflat for the same reason as you, ie for ID ideas, especially if I am very free n nothing to do. As for the agent, since he wanna tag along, then I will ask lots of questions too, just for the fun and for knowledge too.

Visited many before n after, to compare price, layout, location, finishing, update of info on surrounding upcoming development n new CM rules affecting buying n selling.
In future, if looking for another resale unit, we will have some ideas about those development that we had seen. But of course surrounding may change eg. no more views etc. Looking back, it gives us a feel on current market trends n what others r looking for eg. mix dev.

If u want to be left alone to roam around, best is to go during the official launch day when it is a fish market, just walk in and say you have a agent already.

Yes, back last night, and back into action in this forum!
Have lots of catch up to do in this forum as well as reading the whole stack of newspapers.
Back home, I have my own computer.
In Sydney, my kids hogged the laptop and my hubby his ipad.
I only had my mobile phone.

I usually manage to get in without any agents tagging along. As I know quite a number of agents from diff agencies, i will just name anyone of them whom i know have ever marketed for that project. Usually the IC will ask if i need them to help call the agent, I would say no, not my first time here, just wish to confirm on something in the showflat. So far I have been successful. Feel bad wasting the queue no of the serving agent ..

    Why not?

If you already buy, you should still have the contact of your agent, right?

If same agency for new development, you can contact your agent, he or she normally work in group and should have someone there, say you want to go and he or she or maybe his group member can serve you.

If different agency, they also may know some (for co-broke) other agency's agent and you can ask to see look see look.

1st reason, all the more they will try to upsell you since you already came once. 2nd reason, they will congratulate you and ask which unit u bot. To play safe, play thick skin better? Say no M3, come here cao char only

Those agents queuing up would be more than happy if we are upfront with them that we are not genuine buyers. At least they are queue nos are not wasted. Usually its those IC for the day who were particular with having agents to escort the customers.
