Govt releasing four residential sites for sale next month

SINGAPORE — The Government will be releasing four residential sites for sale next month to provide developers and home-buyers with more choices for private housing.

This comes under the Government Land Sales Programme for the second half of this year.

The residential site at Upper Paya Lebar Road and two Executive Condominium sites at Canberra Drive and Anchorvale Crescent were launched for sale today (Nov 18) under the Confirmed List. The Executive Condominium site at Choa Chu Kang Drive was also made available for application today on the Reserve List.

Together, these four sites can yield about 2,350 residential units, said the Housing and Development Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority in a joint release.

Even with the supposed onslaught of oversupply of property and rising interest, govt is still releasing more land ... Are we missing something?

That is the strategy of diluting the demand and garment needs more money to support special project like Jewel, etc.
